‘Account of author’s trip with naturalist Edward A. Preble, May 1907, down Athabaska and Slave rivers, by Great Slave Lake northeast to the Aylmer and Clinton-Colden Lakes region of the Barren Grounds’, over a period of six months. They studied caribou, buffalo, birds, etc, and also describe the Chipewyan Indians. The appendices describe insects, 87 plant species, 44 animals and 156 species of birds, with locations and field notes. The first London edition was in 1912.
