The story of the “Quest”, by Commander Frank Wild, C.B.E. This very readable narrative was written by Frank Wild who assumed command of the expedition after the death of Sir Ernest Shackleton. The narrative was informed by first-hand experience and by the official journal and private diary kept by Dr. A. H. Macklin. An excellent copy of a well-written narrative with one highlight being a sensitively written chapter detailing the death of Sir Ernest Shackleton.
