An unusual diary written by the then United States Minister to Denmark, Ruth Owen Bryan. On her return trip to the United States, Bryan had the opportunity to spend several weeks visiting various settlements along the coast of Greenland, where she travelled on the Danish ship, “Disko”. The book contains several black-and-white photographic illustrations.
